	Vintage Japanese Tin Prize Toy Pin- Pink Face Tengu Yokai 1 inch (2.54 cm) tall Unused VG	This small tin Japanese novelty pin was a prize toy on a sheet of various novelty items. There were tickets on the bottom that the buyer would select to see what number prize they got. The sheet was disintegrating so I removed all the prizes to offer separately or as lots. These prize toys date from the 1950's. This painted embossed tin pin shows a Tengu Yokai with a pink face and painted gold details. Condition is unused, just as it came from the prize toy sheet. The magnets come in the original colorful paper envelopes that have different Yokai images on either side. The ten Yokai images in this set are some unusual ones....although there seems to be no end to the various Yokai. The Haunted Lantern is the only one with which I am familiar. There is a slightly sticky substance on the back of each card that is supposed to make "smoke" when you scratch it with your fingernail. A diagram on the back shows this happening but I don't believe it...perhaps age has blunted the smoke capabilities. This double size card is unused.
