All clickers are vintage and original. We do not sell reproductions. |
There are two basic types of clickers: mechanical,
where when you operate the clicker some part of it moves and
non-mechanical where there is no movement, just a clicking
sound. Clickers have been used by paratroopers , nuns and
school teachers, and dog trainers but they were most used in
the hands of children to produce that wonderful repetitive
and annoying sound that can drive parents wild.
More Information About Clickers
Shipping by USPS is FREE to all continental USA locations. Shipping by USPS to Canada and International Locations is available at actual cost. Insurance is Optional at buyer's request and will be paid by buyer. CONDITION-PHOTOS-REFUNDS Read the descriptions carefully as detailed information about condition, size, working order, type of clicker, rarity and availability will be mentioned there. Condition is mostly concerned with the front lithographed area of the clicker, although any problems on the bare metal back surface will be mentioned. As far as the photos are concerned, please keep in mind that these are small items and when a picture is blown up to a large size all kinds of defects seem to jump out at you...like looking at your skin in a magnifying mirror. The actual item seen by the naked eye, especially our aging eyes, looks better than the photo. Your satisfaction is always important to me. If you are unhappy about the condition of a clicker you get I am happy to give a full refund or exchange it if that is possible. Things do get past my notice sometimes (those aging eyes). |
Mechanical Tin Japanese Clickers

3 and 7/8 inches ( 10 cm) tall Good |
This is one of the larger and very attractive Japanese mechanical clickers. It could be pre-war but on the basis of the litho colors I am going with 1950's vintage. A cowboy is pointing his two six shooters right at you and when you squeeze the clicker mechanism the guns move slightly as you hear the click (or shooting) sound. The clicker shows some tiny dots of roughness on the legs and some stains (not removable in a light cleaning) on shoulders and neck area. |
